Think tulips are just for springtime? Think again. Everlasting tulips in deeper colors can lend a sophisticated look to indoor arrangements year-round. The mosses and river rocks add a woodsy, outdoorsy feel to this unique design. And when you’re ready for a new look, simply trade out the tulips for an entirely different bouquet!
•7” glass cylindrical vase
•2 mossy branches (artificial)
•5 everlasting tulip stems
•2 everlasting stems of Viburnum
•1 bag spring green reindeer moss
•1 bag black river rocks
•1 small roll florist’s sticky clay
•Waterproof tape
•1 roll bark wire
•Wire cutters
Step 1: Place spring green reindeer moss at bottom of cylinder leaving a space in the middle.
Step 2: Take one mossy branch and wrap it around the inside of the cylinder. (It is made from wire so you may have to shape it a bit first.)
Step 3: Create a hand-held bouquet with the tulips, mossy branches, and viburnum. Secure your bouquet with waterproof tape as you go. Be sure to tape stems low so the tape will remain hidden when you wrap stems.
Step 4: Cut stems to length desired, and wrap stems with bark wire.
Step 5: Take 12 inches of florist’s sticky clay off of the roll and form into a ball. Press the ball into the middle of the cylinder where you left a space.
Step 6: Press bouquet stems into clay and drop black river rocks around the stems to help support the bouquet.
Step 7: Enjoy your creation!
