- Does Molbak's offer a senior citizen discount?
Yes. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, senior citizens (62 and older) are able to receive a 10% discount on all regular-priced plants. Just let the cashier know that you qualify.

Molbak’s Gift Cards
- How do I buy a Molbak's gift card?
Gift cards can be purchased online, over the phone, or in the store. To place an online order, click here. To place a phone order, call (425) 398-5315 during store hours.
- How will I receive my gift cards?
Gift cards purchased online will be mailed to you or to the recipient, whichever you prefer. Gift cards ordered over the phone can be mailed or picked up in the store.
- Can Molbak’s gift cards be redeemed for cash?
No. Molbak’s gift cards can only be redeemed for Molbak’s merchandise.
- Do Molbak’s gift cards expire?
No. Molbak’s gift cards are valid for as long as you have the gift card.
- Are Molbak’s gift cards transferrable?
Yes. Molbak’s’ gift cards are just like cash, and can be used by any person who presents the card to the cashier.
Plant Health
- How do I find out if Molbak’s has a specific plant in stock?
Molbak’s is constantly receiving truckloads of fresh plants from its farm down the road. To find out if we currently carry a specific plant, call (425) 483-5000, or toll-free (866) 466-5225.
- I need plant advice. Where do I go?
The horticultural experts at our Information Booth in our garden center are eager to help with any plant or garden-related question you may have. Feel free to stop by or give them a call at (425) 483-5000. Also be sure to check out the Plant Info section of our website. It contains a wealth of useful information, including plant care sheets, soil recommendations, and helpful how-tos.
- My plant is ailing. What should I do to bring it back to life?
To correctly diagnose a sick garden plant, please bring in a sample of the damaged plant to Molbak's Information Booth in the garden center. (For indoor and tropical plants, ask an expert at the indoor plant Information Booth.) Our trained horticulturists will do their best to identify the problem and recommend treatment.
- I have a plant I want to return. Where do I go?
First, review Molbak’s return policy. If your plant purchase qualifies for return, please bring the plant and your receipt to the main Information Booth in our garden center. (To return an indoor plant, go to the indoor plant Information Booth.) Once the return has been processed, they’ll direct you to a cashier and you’ll receive a refund in the same form of payment you used for the initial purchase. If you have no receipt, you will receive a store credit.

Yes, Molbak’s design experts are available to create stunning indoor and outdoor custom arrangements for you out of farm-fresh plants from our garden center or permanent botanicals from our home department. - If I bring in my own container, can you create an arrangement for it?
Certainly. Schedule an appointment and we will be happy to work with you to find just the right combination of colors and textures for your existing container, planter or vase.
- Does Molbak’s offer landscaping services?
Molbak’s design experts are happy to help you plan your garden spaces and help you decide on the right plants to fit your needs, but we do not offer landscaping services or installation.
Seminars & Events
- May I sign up for an event for seminar online?
Yes. Visit our Events page, and you have the opportunity to sign up for the workshop or event online.
- If I sign up for a seminar or workshop and pay a fee, may I cancel my reservation and get a refund?
Yes. Whether you sign up at the store or online, just keep a receipt of your transaction. If you cannot attend, bring your receipt to the store at least 48 hours prior to the event, and a cashier will provide you with a full refund.
- How much do seminars cost?
Some of our events and seminars are free, others are available for a fee. As a Molbak’s Rewards member, you’ll often receive a discounted price on seminars and workshops. Click here to see the upcoming events.
- Does Molbak’s offer seminars and workshops for kids?
Sure. For the young gardener, Molbak’s offers fun-filled, hands-on Kids’ Workshops. Typically, these seminars are designed for kids ages 5 and up. Parents are encouraged to accompany younger children (at no cost, of course).
- Is Molbak’s seminar space available for rent?
At times, we rent out our seminar space to garden clubs and horticultural groups for meetings or gatherings. To find out more, contact us at (425) 483-5000.
