Q. How do I join Molbak's Rewards?
A. To become a Molbak's Rewards member, you can register online and we’ll mail you your Molbak’s Rewards Card within 7-10 business days. Or you can register at the store, and a Molbak’s cashier will issue your Molbak’s Rewards card on the spot.
Q. May I join Molbak's Rewards without providing an email address?
A. You're still welcome to join Molbak's Rewards and enjoy many of the membership benefits. However, most of the program communications will be sent via email, so if you want to know about exclusive specials and members-only benefits, you'll have to rely on a friend or call the store.
Q. Is there a fee to join Molbak's Rewards?
A. No. Molbak's Rewards is a free program for our customers. No joining fees. No membership fees.
Q. Will I need to present my Molbak's Rewards card or key tag when I make a purchase to receive Molbak's Rewards points?
A. If you prefer not to carry your Molbak's Rewards card, the cashier can find your account in the system using your name, phone number, or address information. However, in order to receive credit for a purchase you must let the cashier know that you are a Molbak's Rewards member at the time of the transaction. We will not be able to go back and apply credit to your account retroactively.
Q. How often will I receive communications with Molbak's Rewards?
A. Molbak's Rewards members can expect to receive 2-5 emails a month depending on the time of year, and the savings opportunities we have to share. For your convenience, we will include a link at the bottom of every email correspondence so that you can update your contact preferences if necessary.
Q. How does the Molbak's Rewards points program work?
A. Molbak’s Rewards points add up to big savings at Molbak’s. Here’s how it works:
- Simply present your Molbak’s Rewards card or keytag, or mention to the cashier that you’re a Rewards member at checkout.
- You’ll earn 1 point for every dollar you spend at Molbak’s, event fees, gift card purchases, and tax excluded.
- Points are rounded up to the next dollar. For example, if you spend $24.02, you’ll receive 25 points.
- The points you accumulate during the first earning period—from January 1 to June 30—can be redeemed July 15 to August 31 of the same year.
- The points you accumulate during the second earning period—from July 1 to December 31—can be redeemed the following January 15 to February 28.
- Here’s how your points turn into savings: At the end of the earning period, you get 2% back based on your total points. For example, if you earned 1000 points from January 1- June 30, you’ll receive a $20 award that you can use at Molbak’s from July 15- August 31.
- When an earning period ends, Molbak’s will email your point total and the award amount that’s yours to spend during the following 6-week redemption period.
- There is a minimum $1.00 reward amount, so you must spend $50 in an earning period in order to receive a reward.
- Points are non-transferrable and don’t rollover, so be sure to use them up during the redemption period!
- You can track your Molbak’s Rewards point totals by creating an account at Molbaks.com. You’ll also be able to see you point total at the top of your Molbak’s shopping receipts.
