Wheatgrass. It’s not just for juicing anymore. This vibrant grass is easy to plant, sprouts quickly, and serves as a lush base for a host of lovely arrangements. So plant a plot, and keep it simple or fill it with color and imagination. The choices are yours.
Step 1: Fill your container with soil, about ¾ full.
Step 2: Sprinkle wheatgrass seeds on top of the soil.
Step 3: Water until soil is wet.
Step 4: Continue to water daily when soil appears dry.
Step 5: Grass will sprout in 3-4 days. Keep it trimmed so it doesn’t get too tall.
Step 6: After cutting grass to desired length, decorate with eggs and or ribbon for a festive Easter arrangement. For other times of the year, embellish your grass with fresh or everlasting blooms, or keep it nice and natural—with no extra decorations at all.
